last week i just finished a game. my 2nd game with rise of mankind mod. it was great. and i felt like writing a story out of it. there's no picture though..and i deleted the saved. this is like a prologue of it. if its well received i'll continue it. otherwise i'll polish my literary skills...

great way of telling a story, but i think it'd be easier for readers if you crop out the pictures for storytelling. maybe it's just me, but i find it much more interesting, literary wise for a civ story to consist of words, supported by pictures, instead of a story filling with pictures, coz...

I used WB to magically create Tikal in 3000BC, then played as China. The next few turns all 7 religions were founded by the Mayans, and before I entered Classical they discovered Liberalism. I checked with WB and it seems that they got 1-2 techs every turn.

I'm not fond of a big landmass empire, that's why I seldom play as Russians or Mongols or Americans, my favourite is the Greeks.

It's working. The Persians could now calculate immediately when they spawn! The diverse unit thing didn't go so well though, for some reasons it just wouldn't work :mad:
