Are those Almohads or Spainish?

Spanish.
What Did the French DOOOOO.
And what did the French do....

What French? Unless you mean the [Third] Holy Roman Empire... Which, yes, is ruled by a French king. They acquired South Italy by succession, North Italy by a combination of succession and conquest, the Papal States by outright, blatant conquest, and the western German states mostly by conquest but occasionally by offering protection against at first Mongols, and after they withdrew Bohemia.
Scandinavia is united under the Danish?

That one's actually OTL for the period...
Oh lastly Whats with Crete and Cyprus?

Well, duh. They're Venetian.

Mongols are still in the game that for sure :) Ming China, the Golden Horde in europe...
Dunno what happand thought not good at knowing what happans :)

Sigh so when Frankreich Split up. Into the East and West componants. The Easts attempts to unify Frankreich under one rule again was succesfull?

You meant the Carolingian Empire? No, the PoD is much later then that...
Mongols are still in the game that for sure Ming China, the Golden Horde in europe...

They certainly are - although Ming China wasn't very Mongol.

Just wondering where the term Holy Roman Empire came from, well how it occupied the east states this time and not the west states.... :)

Anyhoo THe only difference i can see is the "obvious" 'french' one.

I can't really say anything about the other places.

this map (obviouslly) isnt nearlly done yet. I decided to upload it to see what you guys think.

I dunno. been a lot of work (reserch mostlly) with little result. its granted thsi will never be a played NES; simply too many nations, and not enough interest in the storyline when i posted it.

For a novel idea, break it down into say 3 NES's one in Europe, One in ME and One in Asia, have them play side by side, and if one of the nations in one of the NES's wants to invade another they just get a cross-refrence through the MOD and invade on of the countries. Makes it quite realistic too as one NES might be in Industrial and another is lagging behind in "Colonial" etc.

Confusing as hell of Course.

Uh, the French king got elected as the Holy Roman Emperor through use of "bully tactics" mixed with bribery. Then the eastern parts of the HRE became de facto independant under Wittelsbach domination, due to a rebellion against French rule.

Actually, if you were to look on a 1400 AD Europe map and compare it with Europe of THIS map...
Mongols never invade europe? Or invade very succefully before leaving?

Well, they do invade it, or rather raid it more thoroughly, but then they withdrew back like in OTL. Or ALMOST like in OTL.
das: Something dealing with the Reconquista?

No... Hint: I used its general idea, or something similar to it, before in a NES.

Not bad, Xen, though Toba Wei in the middle of the Mongol (?) Empire rather confuses me.

Do think. Feel free to ask questions. A lot of nations are not what you might think they are. A hint would be that if you were to look at the map, you would have noticed that neither most Russian principalities nor Poland exist.

I thought it might be the Lithuanian Polish Union i hear about.

THere looks to be there, Bavaria, Austria the northen German Kingdom i have no idea. oh and the one between Hungary and Russia is?

I'm assuming Byzatnium and Turks are still at each others throats. And British Isles don't look too different, well Denmark still owns Shetland and Orkney isles but they did IRL.

I thought it might be the Lithuanian Polish Union i hear about.

Um, no. There is no Poland, no Lithuania, no Poland-Lithuania.

Wittelsbach League

With capital in Prague? Nope, that be Bohemia.
the northen German Kingdom

Hint - its not a kingdom.
oh and the one between Hungary and Russia is?

There is no Russia on this map. If you mean the one to the northeast from Hungary, well, its Galicia (a Russian principality).
Byzatnium

Serbo-Romea!

But, yes, it is still is at the Turkish throat. Btw, if you were to look on the REAL 1400 AD map, you would have noticed that Byzantine Empire by 1400 is confined to Constantinople and Mistra.
And British Isles don't look too different

England lost the English Pale in Ireland and some small northern lands to Scotland, and Ireland is united.

Teutonic Order, yes.
Hanseatic League, yes.

Holy Roman Empire is France, as I already said. Unless you were talking about Saxony, which is indeed an Imperial enclave.
