My rant: My XP computer no longer accesses the internet. I have no idea what's wrong with it, but the last tech guy I spoke to told me that Firefox doesn't work on XPs anymore, and neither does IE. I don't have any other browsers downloaded on that computer.

This means everything I was working on at that time came to a crashing halt, including NaNoWriMo. My hope now is to salvage my documents and pictures, and that computer will just be used for old games that don't need the internet to work.

So it's been a very stressful week.

I am starting to identify that Nietzsche wasn't just being mean when he noted how german philosophers are all focused on the bible. Freud could really use less references to the bible while presenting the lexicon about the term heimlich. Furthermore, the stupid MIT uni translator didn't bother with including the texts alluded to, so i have to find them myself, and it has gotten quite unheimlich as well to read of the ways in which the german version of the old testament replaces all references to heimlich stuff with euphemisms such as 'das heimliche Gemach :/

m8, i won't be paid that many hundreds of euros, so this sucks like stuff in said heimliche Gemach.

not a computer expert but if ı was you keep those games saved in an external disk as well . Your XP might decide to die someday , so that you will have to download a newer Windows . Mine did on about its 12th year and ı have no idea if anything inside can be salvaged

Just get an External Hard drive or USB stick and keep copies of your stuff on that. Just don't do what i did which was use the external drive as your main storage drive. When my old external drive died i lost most of my Civ2 stuff, empire at war mods as well as all my pictures and documents. Had to go through my pile of old hard drives to piece together what i could. Got most of my pictures from 2006-2012 but everything from 2013-2015 was lost...
