The K17 family of patterns were introduced in 2017 with the goal of completely re-outfitting the entire VPA, including the Army, Navy/Coast Guard and Air Force. There are four color variations of the design, all based on the same drawings with alternative color palettes. The Army pattern consists of black, medium brown and grass green on a pale green background. The standard issue rifle is the Israeli Galil Ace, which is manufactured locally at the Z111 Factory with FN-FAL para stocks (the ones on classic Galils) and modifications for simpler production and ease of use such as an AK-style fire selector, under the designations STV-215 and STV-380, indicating barrel length.

Elements of the Vietnamese Naval Infantry Brigade (Lữ đoàn Hải quân đánh bộ) have appeared wearing a true copy of the US m81 woodland camouflage pattern, possibly a copy of the US issued ECWCS. From 2012, the Tavor TAR-21 entered service in special units of the Vietnamese Army, equipping special forces, naval infantries and navy personnel.

In 2008, the Royal Thai Army replaced the long-lived leaf pattern with a pixelated design incorporating the same basic coloration. The Royal Thai Marine Corps have adopted their own pixelated camouflage pattern, basically the same but a bit more subdued. The Tavor is the standard infantry rifle. It replaced the M16A1- 106,203 Tavors on order. Presently 73,000+ Tavor/X95 in service. 360,850 active personnel- worlds 13th largest military

Current Myanmar/ Burmese army. First appearing in 2005, a series of three camouflage designs are now issued to the Burmese Armed Forces, one for each of the major branches of service. The Army pattern is a variant of the woodland camouflage design incorporating black, brown & dark green woodland shapes on garish lime green background. The Special Operations Task Force wear a more literal copy of the US woodland pattern. In 2016, members of the Myanmar army started fielding a digipat version of the woodland camouflage pattern. The pattern appears to have a black, medium brown, grass green and khaki color palette, not unlike the Thai marines above. The MA-1 Mk. I/II are Myanmar-made clones of the IMI Galil series with some modifications, such as plum red plastic furniture and horizontal charging handle, sometimes addressed as the EMERK.
The MA-1 series started in the 1990s, so as to replace their BA63, licensed versions of the H&K G3. Serial production commenced in 2002. The MA-1 Mk.3 is a Myanmar-made clone of the QBZ-97 assault rifle exported to Myanmar back in 2009, made without permission from NORINCO despite claims that they were designed indigenously. They use different plastic material for the receiver housing for sure. 406,000 active personnel- worlds 11th largest military

Current royal Cambodian army. Since the restoration of the monarchy and the establishment of relative stability to Cambodia, the RCAF adopted a copy of the US m81 woodland camouflage pattern at some point in the 1990s, and most conventional units of the Army have continued to wear this pattern into the 2000s. Members of the 911 Special Forces Regiment have also worn Chinese and Indonesian pixelated patterns. Their main equipment is all Chinese.

@Tanelorn These units REALLY make me wish I had more unit slots than I do in my Pacific Rim scenario, even with the ToTPP addition, and even though all the last bunch of offerings would only be usable for the "Minor Nations," player, whose not going to be at all optimized for human play. :)

Current Brazilian armed forces. Most units have a lizard pattern similar to the Greek shown above. The marines' pattern is more faithful to the French original. They all use either Imbel made M964/ M964a1para FAL's or their 5.56mm caliber domestic derivatives: the Imbel MD97 (FAL in 5.56) or, more recently, the Imbel A2 (5.56 FAL with goofy plastic furniture and a picatinny rail on top). Specops use the HK416/17.
334,500 active personnel- worlds 15th largest military

@Patine Ok, start a thread and I will help with anything you ask. Your idea is great, do it.

Current Colombian army. In 2006 Colombia adopted its own pixelated camouflage designs in both a woodland/temperate and a desert version. These are referred to colloquially as camflado pixelado and replaced the old woodland camouflage design (redid it). Introduced circa 2015 for the Colombian Marines, was a pixelated design similar to that adopted by the Air Force.
The Galil ACE is the new standard-issue assault rifle of the Army, Navy, Air Force and Police of Colombia, manufactured by Indumil. Colombia operates the TAR-21Tavor for their special forces.

In 2008, the Mexico began replacing all of its older drab and camouflage uniforms with a series of new pixelated camouflage designs. Issued Army-wide, the temperate digital pattern incorporates black, rust & olive green pixelated shapes on a pale green background. A pixelated desert pattern incorporates small patches of dark olive green and russet among larger swaths of off-white or sand and pink. The Infanteria de Marina adopted a new camouflage pattern to replace the pixelated design introduced in 2008. This pattern, Marina Trans Jungle, was introduced in 2015.
Mexico has 277,150 active personnel currently- it is the worlds' 17th largest military
