I was actually house-sitting for my grandparents up in Pennsylvania for awhile and got back fairly recently. Loved the finale of LoK. Most of the rest of the time it's been odd jobs for shifty people, that sort of thing.
I'm actually working through Middlekauff's history of the war right now. Try Caroline Cox, A Proper Sense of Honor; Lawrence Cress, Citizens in Arms; Charles Neimeyer, America Goes to War; and Jeremy Black, War for America. None of those is newer than 2004, unfortunately; I'm still tiptoeing through the literature myself.
