If you're worried about technologies you could add the olympics/world cups as wonders that arrive every four years; possibly making the previous one obsolete.
There are also quite a few new units that are in the pipeline for most countries. Obviously it would be difficult to get the units as...
I've had it happen on airbase before. The AI rebases a plane to the tile and you can no longer use it. I can't remember which scenario it was in mind; it may of been TCW
That would mean you would be able to change the length of your scenario by changing the amount of turns. To change the start year alter the start date section next to it. You can change the amount of time in years, months or weeks that goes by each turn by altering the base unit of time box and...
I presume you mean technologies but if you mean the governments read the spoiler:
But if it is technologies you need to check the techs available to the civ at the start. Then look at the techs themselves and make sure they have prerequesites and make sure they have the correct era. I...
Right, after looking at sengoku I changed the stats and turned off disband and it worked perfectly... probably a mistake on my part sorry guys, thanks for the help anyway.
Wow, thanks for the quick reply. But yea I've tried what you said Virote but I've played thorugh the scenario several times and I've had a problem each time. And I've tried changing things round in Civ3Edit; I've probably been making a couple of stupid mistakes so I'll check round again :blush...
I hate to ask but can anyone think of a way I can properly integrate upgradeable yet non-buildable hero units. I have a seriously bad feeling it might be hard coded. I've looked through quite a few scenarios looking for them, and the only thing remotely close is the mothballed battleships in...

Right, hate to bump an old thread again but every time I resize a scenario using the maptweaker then save it, the BIQ editor will open it up once but every time after that it crashes and asks me to send an error report any ideas how to fix this? It's not urgent so don't worry too much about it.
If the biq was taken from the Napoleonic era scenario included in Conquest then I'd imagine Britain would be larger to show it's power at that time in the game.
Anyway, I think you missed out some major British cities (Manchester, Liverpool) this is probably due to the size of the map. The...
