Terrain Buildings (NEW Latest sets of Terrain Buildings on post #92)


Compiled from my own modifications and others that I like. I have also borrowed from others on this site to make my own mods, you know who you are, I hope you don't mind.

Changes made:

>modified the Firaxis ancient fortress and barricade, they are longer.

>made new mines.

>modified Pounder's barb camp, changing the palisades from vertical to diagonal.

I included two versions of the mine one with smoke and one without, it is easy to paste the one you want onto the second row. If someone wants one without the smoke and can't do it themselves, I will be happy to make one for you.



I have added docks and buildings to Pounders river deltas.

Filled in more water at the docks to show fewer islands.

Added a few more tributaries.

Replaced river heads with rivers that look better when not starting in a mountain.
Use both files together mtnriver and deltariver.

Version 1 removed after 225 downloads.

Edit: February 17, 2008 Replaced Far East City Walls as the file had a bad transparant colour.

Buildings-Large and Buildings-Small - Double and Triple Size File Sets

As the title says double size buildings file set actually just a little bigger than double.

Extended from 85 rows to 171 rows.

No preview as it is only an icon sheet for improvements and wonders, just cut and paste your new icons over the old ones.

There is a second set that is over sized at 408 rows (the game limit is apparently 256).

Cities Template

For those who want to cut and paste there own city sets.

Edit: I've replaced it with a better one that has defined areas for each city so you know exactly where the boundaries are. The diamond is the center tile and the rectangle is the city boundary.

Edit: Added city walls template that Pounder posted on C&C forum.

Terrain Buildings (Larger Ancient and Medieval)

Here is my version of some Terrain Buildings.




Here is another shot showing how visable they are in the jungle.






And here is another medium sized ancient and medieval set that I made originally that I had forget to post.

You will have to rename ( just take the med out of the name).





Balthasar/Gibaut made this all medieval version again you will have to rename it after you download.

Widescreen City Screen

I made a wide screen version of the city screen to work with those who are playing on a large screen monitor.

You will need to download both files to use.

Both files go in this folder: C:\Program Files\Infogrames Interactive\Civilization III\Art\City Screen
