Flavorful Masteries renames all of the masteries from the generic "Mastery" to a specific name representing a historical specialization or elevated level of the technology or civic. Each of the masteries for generic techs and civics from the Antiquity, Exploration, and Modern ages have names. The mod does not name Civic masteries for Unique civics for each civ as I don't know enough about each Civilization's culture to do that justice, however I am open to suggestions.
I did my best to choose names that were a mix of historical innovations and that captured the effects of the branch. For example, Military Training's mastery gives a combat bonus to ranged and siege units, so I decided that it could represent the tactics and strategies used in the great sieges in antiquity, so I named it "Siege Tactics".
In addition, the mod puts a slight sepia tone on masteries in the progression tree chooser panel.
NOTE: this mod does some pretty heavy edits to base UI files and it just whole-sale replaces them on load. I do not currently know if this will interfere with other UI mods but I can make some compatibility cases if you find any.
