As the name implies, some of the Advanced Settings have decided to lock themselves into one setting or another no matter what I choose. For instance, World Age is locked to New like the below screenshot
Civ 6 Bug.PNG

Sea Level is always low, Rainfall is always sparse, etc. I can't get it to unlock. I've validated the game, uninstalled it and reinstalled it and I can't seem to get it to stop. Any ideas?

Do you mean you can't change the settings, you change the settings and they have no impact or the tooltip hover is wrong (I've seen the latter)??
The latter. I change the settings using the dropdowns, but the tooltips don't change no matter what and when I start the game, its as if I selected what the tooltip hove said was what I'd chosen, rather than what I actually chose. I'm currently reinstalling the game again after deleting all local and cloud files I had, so I hope that it works this time. What was the fix that you've seen?

Update: Uninstalling and deleting all local and cloud files did not solve the problem. Problem persists after reinstallation.

Apologies for posting multiple times, but I've added the version number to the title and I've confirmed with someone who only has vanilla that they are facing the same issues.

I've not seen a fix but I have seen the UI issue (I assumed it was just a UI issue - not sure how to check??)
Yeah, its one of those things where it definitely seems like its more than a UI issue, but it doesn't exactly let you see it easily. I'll check by trying to make it as opposite of the tooltips as possible.

Do you have any active mode? Can you please zip up your logs directory and post it here? Thanks!

Hi, I'm having the same issue. Even if I select Wet setting the mouse over still says "a map with *less* woods and forests".

I have reasons to suspect this is not only a UI issue, I think it also affects map generation.

I have started several Pangea maps as duel, standard; and as Continents, Wet. I see no difference in the amount of forest and all of the maps are snaky as a Fractal Map.

Other settings that are affected by this: World Age, Temperature, Rainfall.

I use no mods.
