(1.0.7.9) Do AI cheat with fog of war?

I am quite sure that barbarians are able to see my units outside their field of vision. This is obvious with cavalries going straight to units that they cannot see.
I guess that this is the same with AI civs. This cheating is very annoying because in Civ5 the AIs were as blind as the player.
 
Barbs for sure know the full map. You can see this behaviour all the time. Barb camp is a few clicks from opponent city, you "step" on them (barbs) and if they attack your scout or initial warrior and kill him they will go after you. Even when barb scout never reached you because off huge area of unclaimed land the party will go straight to visit your capital. About seeing units I agree: kidnapped settler or worker will always take the path that prevents him from being taken by any player. Even if he can not see an unit behind forest or hills he will not make a move that will end his "escape".
 
Proof barb see full map: embark my archer on wheat tile, barb spearman (4 tiles away) somehow knows that and run to my archer.
And I'm sure the barb is extremely benevolent towards AI civs, the barb spawn rate near AI civs is very slow, so the stupid AI can handle barb :). I hope there is a mod to change this injustice :)
