1.22 released!

A patch to address the following issues in 1.22:

• Fixed potential error spam/crash when a player joins game or is killed
• Fixed the QuickLoad key binding (Shift-F8)
• Included all fixes from Patch 1

To install, navigate to /Mods/History Rewritten/Assets/. Remove the Python and XML folders from that location and replace them with the ones from the unzipped patch. This patch includes all previous patches; it does not matter if you've applied any before or not. Applying this patch will break saved game compatibility.

was able to continue save I sent you before bug, but bug appeared anyway and civ destroyed spam continued too. I will try new game then

It's much hard to predict compatibility with multiplayer games because I can't use world builder. I think though, that the bug had already messed up the script data of at least one player (Kublai Khan) in your game by the time of that save, even though the errors hadn't appeared yet.

I fixed what I could find, but I can't guarantee I caught everything. Multiplayer games are so much harder to debug thoroughly. I wouldn't recommend starting a game with your girlfriend just yet, try a couple of single player games first.

Is History Rewritten 1.22 designed to be only playable on larger screens now? Or have I installed it incorrectly? The Tech screen does not fit!

What's your resolution?

Not just the tech screen, I did mention that pretty much all screens won't fit with the new x resolution set, but Xyth only fix the Pedia due to the Y resolution :D

Either have screens which adjust to resolution, or at the very least fit to the default civ iv resolution

Didn't expect anyone to be playing on such a low resolution still. Must be a pretty old computer. I've assumed 1280x768 as a minimum. No screens are too tall, but several are too wide. Will see what I can do.

There are 4 screens that are too wide when playing on 1024x768: Domestic Advisor, Civics Advisor, Tenets Advisor, and Tech Advisor. To adjust these, the files you need to modify are all located in /History Rewritten/Assets/Python/Screens/:

• CvDomesticAdvisor.py
• CvCivicsScreen.py
• CvTenetsScreen.py
• CvTechChooser.py

In each, find the line "self.W_SCREEN = " (not far from the top of each file) and change the value after the '=' to 1024. The Civics/Tenets/Tech Advisors still work fine at this size, (just a bit squashed), but some columns in the Domestic Advisor will be unreadable.

In my current game, I've used a Great Prophet to create a Great Temple (Synagogue) and it's been created but the Great Prophet hasn't been consumed, I can still use it again. Also my leader is Spiritual, so it should have triggered a Golden Age, which haven't taken place.

Here the saved game, you can use the Great Prophet yourself.

Caused by a typo. Seems I have a bad habit of spelling 'Modifier' as 'Modifer', not the first time that mistake has caused errors. Will fix in Patch 3.

I'm attaching the saved game instead. As soon as you end turn it crashes.

I can't replicate the crash, but I am getting a ton of errors on loading. Pretty certain it's related to a problem already fixed. Wait till I post Patch 3 in this thread, apply that and then start a new game. This game is unrecoverable, sorry.

This shouldn't be happening unless you have BTS itself set to run at a low resolution. Check your graphics settings.

Haven't played the patches yet, but I have some UI suggestions that might be simple enough to make patch 3.

Adding tenet yields to effected resources tooltip.

There isn't a clear cut way to see how much faith is produced/accumulated in the city screen. Whether or not a building gives faith.

I had a third written down but can't remember at the moment

Minor bug in Jingu's introductory text. She refers to herself with the *Player's* name instead of her own.

A patch to address the following issues in 1.22:

• Rebalanced Aspiration Tenets
• Preservation: fixed several bugs
• Priests: now give +2 faith
• Fixed an error when constructing certain buildings
• Now only earn 50% of lost city production as wealth (e.g. losing wonder race)
• Civics, Tenets, and Tech screens now scale down for smaller resolutions
• Improved building display on city screen
• Resources: added faith associations to pedia and most tooltips
• Several minor fixes and tweaks
• Includes all fixes from Patch 1 and Patch 2

Post an autosave from just before the spam starts, and your PythonDbg.log and PythonErr.log files from the turn just after it starts.

In my game, it seems that all the leaders have a -5 diplomatic penalty against me. Some even have slightly more with -7 or -8. The reason is "past events have drawn us apart". However, this occurs even with civs that have the exact same religion and tenets as me. How is this value calculated? Is it working as designed?
Thanks so much for this mod btw! I'm having so much fun playing it!

Here you go, but i will reproduce this in singleplayer i have new game so far 200 turns.
