And great patch Firaxis! Just shame about the diplomacy - unless there's some way to do it with text files or something?

Exsanguination, just try either one of the two mirrors Thunderfall has put up, or the main version from Firaxis.

One of them should work, I quite often have downloads cut out for no reason(I think it's programmed into XP just to annoy me ).

Firaxis originally plan to release the scenario editor with Play the World. We should be happy that they chose to release the patch now. True, the editor still needs some work (i.e. events, diplomacy, objectives), but it is much better than the 1.21f editor. Mike is like the only person working on the editor, so it's pretty impressive that the editor now has minimap, unit/city placement, starting position placements, unit/civ/tech/improvements additons, etc...

I am sure one of the gifted utility programmers will create a program that allows editing of diplomacy soon... This is better than delaying the patch for a few more weeks IMO.

i am d/ling as we speak, but its been 30 mins and I'm at 43% and I bet it cuts out at 99%.
