1000 clues your civ3 management skills need help

That's what the autosave is for. ;)
199. You don't know of the existance of the autosave.
200. You have modded your game so heavily that the RNG starts doing very strange things like making aliens come and abduct all the cows (Seriously, why do they always abduct cows???)
w00t! 200th clue! Lets see. If we get 200 clues in 10 pages, we'll have 1000 clues in 50 pages!!
But wait, there's more!
201. You wonder why nobody has declared war on the aliens for abducting all their cows.
202. You wonder why nobody on this forum has declared war on spam for causing the locking of great threads (actually, the mods lock it, but they only lock threads that have been overrun by spam).
Wait, that clue was spam! Aaaah!!! *bang* :suicide:

203: Your modern army consists of 40 warriors, and you've researched Modern Armor.

Erm, low food stores after the long journey?
Or maybe, their planet has zero cows and they abduct them to improve their grass?
204. You try to declare war on the aliens for abducting your cows, but since they use flying units, you have to wait until Flight to attack them.
205. You build one city and your not playing OCC.
206. You have played 20+ games and have never gotten to the Modern age because you lost or ran out of time first(guilty).

I have a friend that never got to MA because he prefers wiping all AIs out w/ Riders (can't blame him though, Riders are awesome)

edit: choxorn revised his post.

207. You wonder why the city governor isn't producing the units you want it to.

208. You lose on Chieftain.

209. You lose on Warlord.

210. You lose on Regent.

211. You lose on Monarch.

212. When playing on Chieftain, you follow the AI's pace and finally get Musketmen in the year 2000.

213. Your games on large maps only take 5 hours to complete.

214. You have been playing the game for years, but you are still puzzled when it comes to beating Chieftain.

215. You lose, period.

216. You don't even bother fixing civil disorders and you think that all the red numbers don't look very good, but don't know how to fix them.

217: You absolutely need to fix them, as you are playing as the Romans, but you don't know how. (FYI, while playing with the Romans, the red numbers are hard to see because of the standard civ-color)

But if you never get to the Modern Age because you win first, then you are doing things very well! ;)
I meant you lose first or run out of time... ;) I'll edit that now.

I think those are all a little harsh (except the Chieftain one)

Yeesh, in my first game everyone was barely into the industrial age. The demographic report at the end of the game showed the top five cities all as size-12 capitals.

218. You irrigate grasslands in despotism.
219. You mine hills in despotism.
220. You do both.
221. You don't know of the resource loss if 2+ in despotism.

Uh.. you double-posted, desertsnow.

I'd like to introduce the new CivIII forum moderator: choxorn! ;)

It's not like irrigating in despotism, you still get an extra shield out of it.

222. You often attack 'similar named' city rather than strategically important one (with those Korean names and others)...

Yes they are, but lets not start a discussion about this, okay?

True, but it does take more time and you can get 2 shields out of mining plains and BG's as well.

And I'm guessing the 10th was when you didn't have any lakes or rivers in the vicinity? :mischief:
And yes, stop making me look bad or else! :mischief:
:ar15: :sniper: :ninja:  :spear:
