1000 clues your civ3 management skills need help

They are all set to attack next turn- but you left your king defended by one MI in your coastal capital. The next turn, in a last-ditch effort, the AI attacks that MI with 10 marines. The ninth one kills it, and the tenth one kills your king.

I don't think Low WW can be anywhere near that bad. If it can, anyone it happens to is a very bad war fighter, and any bad war fighter needs to be in a warmonger government to make up for it- or they will lose of conquest before 3000 BC.

OTOH, if you *are* in such dire straits, then your Civ3 Management Skills really DO need help!

Thanks! But I don't think anyone has ever lost by conquest that early. I haven't played a game above Warlord, not counting SG's, but I don't think I've ever lost a game in the BC's

I've lost several games in the first couple of turns. Farmer's gambit on Deity, meeting Shaka on turn 2, these are a few possibilities. Don't say "I don't think anyone has ever done something" if you're playing Warlord (or even better, don't ever say that).

People often think in a different way than you do.

Yep. I am pretty bad though, I only have wins in C3C, and only eight of them. and six of them are victories in the conquests. However, it looks like I'm gonna get a warlord win in my current PTW game...

If you can win a civ game, means you're not bad.

I've lost more than I've won... I think the correct total is 14 losses. But one of them is on Warlord.
175. You wonder how a chieftain AI can build so many cities so fast (used to be guilty)
