IBT - Inca lose 2 knights and an MDI before another MDI kills our Elite* Musket. "That's One." I really oughta figure out the kill ratio...gotta be a new personal best. They march some more troops agains GrahamIsGonnaSlam. Koreans lose a Privateer to one of our Frigates. We build some stuff, and people are partyin' all over our empire. Palace Expansion.
Turn ... 5 (1475) Back to the "siege" of GrahamIsGonnaSlam: Cav Army whacks a musket, another musket (gotta watch it now... Pachachuti's sending LONGBOWS after me.) Fresh Cav Army whacks a pike, another pike, an MDI, another MDI. Elite Cav whacks an MDI. Vet Cav whacks an archer. Elite Cav whacks a longbow. 4/5 cav whacks a longbow. 3/5 Cav whacks a Warrior. Trade Korea Furs for 23 gpt.
I know this is bad form, but I fortify some of our workers at home. There is one "awake" on top of each stack, so they're easier to find.
IBT - Inca advance more troops. Wang Kon wants to renegotiate Dyes. renew for 23gpt.
Korea and Aztecs sign MPP
Turn 6 (1480) The Inca have advanced 11 MORE units against GrahamIsGonnaSlam. This is getting ridiculous. Time to sack something. But first, I whack 2 muskets, a Pike, an A/C, another Pike, 3 spears, an archer, a warrior, and another archer outside that city.
Time to get down to business. Army whacks a musket at Huamanga. Blitzes another musket. And another. Grab another Army, and do it again. Capture the Statue of Zeus at Huamanga (this one counts towards the over/under line). Dangit... I hate to raze cities like this. It's got a rax, a granary, a market, a court, walls, a 'duct, and the Statue of Zeus. Put a musket and a settler in there. I'm pretty sure I've got one turn of grace before a flip. This'll be an "instant raze and replace". Whack a pike and a longbow on my way out of the mountains.
IBT - The Inca retreat a single Cav with a longbow at Cuzco. That's their capitol. I think they're officially gassed. (I've got 3 Armies at the city's gates.

)
Turn 7 (1485) - first things first. Abandon Huamanga (and the Soz) SlingItAtEmAll is founded on the rockpile. Short rush a temple with a worker.
Lose a cav at Corihuayrachina. That town is gonna get sacked just for making me spell that. Whack a musket, lose a cav (that's THREE dangit) and ANOTHER cav, elite Cav whacks a musket, Elite Cav whacks a musket, and (another) leader is born sacking the city.
Whoops. The inca cultural borders cover our leader.

Advance a sackful of Cav on the next Inca town.
At Cuzco: Cav Army whacks a musket. Redux. Another Cav Army whacks a musket. Redux. Elite Cav whacks a longbow. Vet Cav whacks a longbow, and the city is ours. (This one counts too.) Temple of Artemis, a market, a court. completely surrounded by enemy culture. Talk about flip risks.
I decide to press our luck and send a vet Cav against Vilcas. It whacks a musket, but is redlined. Second Vet Cav whacks a musket. Take an Army that wasn't needed for Cuzco and whack the last musket defending Vilcas. The city is ours. (This one counts too.)
In something that vaguely resembles an amphibious assault, I land 8 Cav outside Oilantambo from some galleons I had 2 turns ago in GrahamIsGonnaSlam.
In something else that vaguely resembles an amphibious assault, I land Gozpel's distractionary force (now 2 armies strong and fully healed) outside Vitcos.
IBT- Inca (or was it the Maya?) lose a Longbow attacking one of our Cav.
Turn 8 (1490) - I lose a rider army blitzing Vitcos, but the city is ours (again). I'm not sure if that counts or not. Cavalry Army is redlined Blitzing 3 muskets at Tiwanaku. Elite Cavalry takes the city. And I KNOW that one counts. At Nasca, a Cav Army is redlined blitzing 2 Muskets and a Pike. Another one that counts. At Andahuaylas, a Cav Army Blitzes a Musket and a Pike. Elite Cav whacks a flatfooted musket, and that city is ours now too. Lose an Elite Cav at Atico (New Inca Capitol) Lose a Vet Cav there too. Vet Cav whacks a musket. Elite Cav whacks a musket. Vet Cav whacks the last musket, and that city falls to us. I'm starting to keep cities... because I forgot where all my combat settlers are. That, and the Inca are now a 5CC.
There's a town that starts with an "O" that is covered up by some of our Cav. Lose 2 Vet Cav there. Whack a pike, retreat a cav to a stubborn musket. Junkyard Bob* whacks a musket, Elite Cav whacks a musket, and that city is ours now too.
Lose 2 Cav at Macchu Picchu. Pull an army out of vilcas and blitz 2 muskets. Elite cav left over from "O" town whacks a musket at Macchu Picchu. Vet Cavalry whacks a longbow, and Macchu Picchu is ours now too.
...moving Cavalry south...shuffle a whole BUNCH of stuff around (because this game is officially a mess).
IBT - Finally - something amusing in the IBT - Monty wants to trade World Maps.
Beijing completes the Military Academy...starts an Army. Next player can swap to Universal Sufferage if we are overcome by a desire to launch a Chinese Rider Army to Alpha Centauri.
Turn... 9 (1495) MapStat tells me that all of the recently conquered Inca towns aren't real happy about having been conqurered recently. that's okay. Gimme 2 more turns and they'll all be properly assimilated.
...but first, a combat settler. I think I've named a town after everybody on the team...so this next one'll be "Lock'n'Load Cafe". Short rush a temple.
Whack a musket at Juli with an Army. Blitz another musket. Elite Cav takes the city. Grab some Cav and go after Chuquiapo. Vet Cav whacks a musket and promotes. Elite Cav retreats to a Spear. Vet Cav whacks the spear, and the city is ours.
Lose a cav at Chuito. Vet Cav whacks a musket. Vet Cav whacks a pike and the city is ours.
The Inca (or was it Maya?) are no more.
Come to think of it, I'm a little gassed too. Time to take a break and give a progress report to the team.
