2 Culture Monument with Arabia

Hey folks,

just a quick question, i noticed that one of my monuments produces 2 culture instead of 1.
Is there an explanation for that or is it just a bug/error in the civ 4 script?

It is over 1000 years old. Culture doubles after 1000 years on all other buildings but academy (yes, even wonders).

And palace too. That's a pretty common thing, although I did not know why it happens.

i was not aware of this game mechanic. Guess this answers my question.
