What are the optimal number of cities for each world size?

Do you get the culture from a captured wonder?

Tiny: 12
Small: 14
Standard: 16
Large: 24
Huge: 32

This varies between the difficulty levels though. Btw, it tells you all this in the editor. Look it up before you come asking around here, ya crazy hippy! :mischief:

You get no culture from a captured wonder.

Hope that helps :) (btw, you can ask these type questions in the "Quick Answers" thread at the top of this forum)

Okay, so say that I settled my 24 cities already. I'm playin on monarch right now and I'm doing pretty well. I'm about to attack some enemies, would it be best to raze the cities I take over or to take them over and go past the limit this way the other computer civs can't settle there?

I never really pay any attention to the OCN. Hence, I always just keep the cities. The AI would settle there if you razed, so it would benefit you to keep it -- increases your score also :)

gainy bo's right! ocn only limits number od cities that are more (or less) productive. cities above that limit get double corruption. what he hell! found them anyway; it's territory, population, maybe they claim resources .........

RIght - you can always give them minimal production and fill them with taxmen, or build wealth, or build workers to work land or fill up your other cities.
