I played a little last night and following a tip someone told me and attacked the Babalonians. On there borders you have me (English) Greeks and English. I astablished a military alliance with everyone else. The Babs had about 20 cities and now they have 3. I have the rest of them. It seems like the Greeks and the English haven't attacked at all. It took me about 15 turns to get what I did.

1st. Can anyone tell me why the English and the Greeks have not attacked. The both border the Babs and very easy to get in.

2nd. Should I just eliminate all the Babs cities or should I just keep them alive with a city or two.

3rd. I have no improvements to do in my cities, should I just keep building military units (I have 297 units) or set my cities on wealth till the next improvement.:ripper: :rocket:

The English and Greeks were probably engaged near their borders and simply defended themselves from attack, which still helped you since it drew units away from the cities you were attacking. I would eliminate the Babylonians so that they do not vote against you once the UN is built. They also might try to get an ally to attack you later on. If you can afford the additional units, keep building them until it hurts your pocketbook.

1) It is generally hard to tell if the AIs are duking it out unless you see the fights or a city is destroyed or taken over. They probably were fighting, but the AI also seems to have an idea of where to attack...perhaps they were fencing with troop positions the entire time and never actually committed to fight a battle (I've seen this happen between the AI and myself as I move troops around preparing to fight...)

2) Conquer them...if for some reason you don't want the cities, sell them or give them to your allies...it will make them happy and you won't have to deal with the corruption...

3) Wealth is not that great 1 gold / 8 production is a waste. Perhaps you can build and sell cheap improvements, or if your cities are maxxed out based on aqueducts/hospitals you could build workers and sell them on the open market. [pimp] If you are going to build the units, you might as well use them, perhaps the Greeks or English are getting a bit uppity?
