All discussion about the models should take place at the proposal thread. :) Don't want to clutter this one up and have the models get lost in the shuffle.

    Thanks

    Kal-El,

Where did you get the gif animations of Mech Commander (back in an older thread) ?? It would be interesting to make some mechs (per civ)...

If you have complete units (preferrably in giv format) somewhere, these would be of great use... :D

I found those on a mech commander site, but that was the only animation they had.

There are some 3ds mech models posted in the models thread.

Here's a site with 100's of 3d models. Most are in 3DS format, all are also offered in DFX version. Some come in LW, MAX, and WRL formats. They are all free and have a wide range of realistic, mythical, and futuristic models for any unit creators.

Whilst we're on the subject of Poser, here are some props and textures:

    from http://www.poserstyle.com/

    Mike Napoleonic Cuirassier
    Complete Napoleonic Cuirassier clothing item
for Daz' Michael. Jacket - Pants - Boots - Breast Plate - Helmet
Helmet Tail - Sheath and Straps - Sword
Belt - Carbine - Sheath Anchor

    Cuirassier MAT's
MAT poses and textures for Napoleonic Cuirassier clothing item for Daz' Michael.

    from http://www.3dmenagerie.com/

    PowerGrip/DexGrip
These are two types of grips, the Power Grip and the Dexterous Grip.

    Skeletal Horse
It isn't anatomically correct, but it's quick, and it's cheap. It uses figure re-scaling (legs), transparency mapping (body and head), morphs (head, shoulders), and new geometry (spine). It is a PCF that requires decoding with ObjAction Mover, and P4 for the trans-mapping. This file also contains the Horse Mouth Parts prop.

    Jousting Gear
There's 2 plumes, a decorative thingy, a buckler, a lance and a lance holder that hooks onto the saddle.
