Well, when/if i get a 3d printer, i will surely use it to print some of my better models. Some people already do that thing and it looks excellent. You can make your own room decorations

I can see you selling 3D models of your cities and collectors in the future searching frantically online for a rare 2012 Egyptian set . Sounds great actually, Kyriakos, and I bet your cities would look super as a 3D model one could actually touch and feel.

Hmmm... Maybe I should try that with some of my units. There's definitely a market in Japan at least for resin figurines of cute, heavily-armed girls, LOL!

Indeed i am pretty sure that 3d printing will be used very heavily in plastic game creation in the near future And it is a great development.

There are already a number of people in the LEGO minifigure customization scene who are using 3D printing services to make custom minifig accessories, most of which are quite good. It's still more expensive than bulk injection molding, but has FAR less start-up costs involved.
