3rd Crusade. Middle Ages pbem

The Danes have upset the Byzantines who have declared war on them. The shame of it :)
We are happily farming

That means WAR
Lost Galley against longship
Killed 2 spears and captured Dortmund lost knight
Killed spear and captured Nantes

Only the Abbasids can save you now and hopefully I will not lose too much in my attack of Jerusalem. I should have enough considering that I have plenty of Troops, but do I have enough? I know that I have pu all my eggs into one basket. I was waiting for an attck by the Abbasids, but nothing happeneed so I think it is only one thing, and tha is victory fo me. I managed to kill a few French Troops but they should not do much damage as afar as the game is concerned because I am outside of Jerusalem with five Armies of Berserks and numerous more Berserks and plus I have a relic in my hands that will get me about the VP for victory so I must say that things are looking very good for me.

Sunk Longship
Killed 3 spears and captured Hilersheim
Lost crusader but killed spear in Naumberg
Killed Beserker and burned down London
Killed spear and captured Hamburgh lost knight

You will still be short a few hundred points with 1 relic

No I will not, because I just took Jerusalem and now I have over the 30000 VP I needed to win. It seems that you forgot to add the VPs for the captured city and the units I killed. :woohoo: This is my first victory. I must say thanks to all those who took part in making this an enjoyable game. In the siege of Jerusalem I only lost two Berserks attacking. Considering it is the end of the game I will now give some pictures of the end of the game.

Here is Jerusalem, now Under Danish Control.

While there are six Resister, they do not matter.

Here is the victory screen noting my victory.

Well played. :D
I knew when I saw the fleet that I could not beat you to Jerusalem. It took too long to get enough troops home to try for a Regicide and wipe you out.
It looked like you would still be short last turn, there must have been loads of points in Jerusalem :(
Classical Hero the lion hearted indeed. Appropriate for the game though

You forgot that I would get points for taking the city, which was 700 points and plus I killed every defender in the city, so that would have gotten me point for that. So I knew that I had enough points to win. What was suprising was the fact that the Abbasids has Assains, but they did not attack me when I landed. I was sure they would have used them since I had a peak at Jerusalem before I declared war on them. For some reason they moved to the hill next to Jerusalem, because they attacked me after I pressed enter. Considering that I knew that I had won the game, Jerusalem was not well defend and thus they retook the city, but it was too late by then.

I was planning to take Jerusalem too. But the massive Danish fleet sailed by me before I could get organised

I had that planned along time ago. It was after I had basically got rid of the English becaue then I knew that all I had to was get controll of my Armies where they were needed most and that was Jerusalem. One reason why I attacked the Calaphids sp? was because I needed extra VPs and gaining those few cities and killing those units is what got me over the line. I knew that i needed to get close to the 20,000 mark when I attacked otherwise my plan would not have been a success and thus given you ample time to attack me and win the game. Having five Armies did help alot in winning this game. Just about every elite unit gave me a MGL, which I was glad about.

Should have taken my troops home as soon as I saw the fleet. Maybe even attacked the Danes with the Cordovans. Thought I had more time to get troops over to Jerusalem. TOO LATE. Heads will roll.
