It does sound like Classical stat and split on the tech trading. Would you be adding any AI to the mix or just the 3 teams?

I was hoping of playing with 8 human players but am thinking that maybe a 2 AI team would be all right.
pls PM me with your e-mails and I will sort things out and send a confirmation PM with turn sequence and all mails.

PS: any thought on the difficulty of the AI's ?

AI at least Monarch but thats what I would be comfortable with if they start next to me!!

I say Classical, tech trading, no AI. Only humans. If that means waiting because we need 4 teams I would rather wait.

On second thought, you might not want me to be in your game. I just found out that in the other games I am playing everyone else is keeping two copies of CIV on their computer. A 1.74 install (so they can play with normal unrestrained PC users) and a 1.61 install (so they can play with my "lame" 1.61 install).

I wrote aspry asking them when they would be done with the update and they said that they were working as hard as they could and refrained from giving me a date.

So if everyone else playing wants to have two versions of Civ4 on their computer, I am happy to play with you. If someone doesn't want to do that, I am happy to drop out.

MAC 1.74 patch released!... can we play on that?

Mhh..so we will have to play together, he? I wouldn't call me a pro or expert but I suppose you will have to learn a lot while I probably can't learn much from you. To share experience is what a teamer should do, but I have the feeling this might be unilateral. So I don't feel confident to play with you when you are completly new to civ iv, since the gameplay differs a lot from the former game.

Ive played multiplayer on civ3 but cant get civ 4 to work on multiplayer and i have played for a while single.

PS: don't use the 3.13 update for BTS that is available around as it conflicts with the save and crashes the civ game (this is vanilla 1.74)
