70x84 ancient Greece (peloponnesian war themed) map

I made this using maptweak to resize an older map by me, the 'byzantine empire with trebizond and iraq', to just this region. Although there are many maps of Greece around i thought that some people might want a smaller map, for faster games, and in that case this may be the one

i wanted to edit some terrain, but unfortunately due to some bug everytime i tried to all of the coastlines changed, and that ruined the carefull work i had done in the byzantine empire map, so the terrain is identical to the old one.

no resources or starting locations have been placed. However you can find maps of resources in Greece in the ancient era, at google.com for example.

It can also be used as a similar themed trojan war map

Yeah varwnos, this is great - if I'd known about this, I might have asked if I could use it for my Peloponnesian War scenario!! It seems to have more accurate terrain than mine (but hey, mine was designed for gameplay value only anyway! ).

Your map is better for gameplay This doesnt have much land, and it is very hard to place many cities. It is ok for an epic game i think, if one wants it to develop fast

I have got a peloponnesian war map under construction.
There is Sizilien and Minor Asia inclueded.

but i've got one Problem: When i'm in the rule manager, and want to create a new "Civilisation" e.g. the Spartans, the Program doesn't save the changes.
On the next restart the new Civilization is lost.

This is really nice, Varwnos! Downloading now! I love the smaller maps. They are more scramped. Large ones are kinda ughh sometimes.

Well, I have used one of your maps to try and start a scenario but don't expect anytime soon though (I don't want to give you false hopes, I might even switch to Civ4 before it is finished....

Wow, this is a really good map. It's perfect for people like me that don't want scenarios to go on...and on...and on...and on with our old machines. I've always wanted to do a Peloponnesian War scenario, perhaps I will now.
