8 player pbm your own civ

I would like to start 8 player email game but not ordinary one. Each civilization would have its own set of units and YOU could chose how strong they would be.
You surely gona ask how do you plan on balancing it since someone can say it will have9999999 attack, defence, movement + blitz and it cost would be 10 shields. To get rid of this I created price for everything so it would be well balanced.
I plan to post it here once I get at least 3 players willing to chose theyr own unit for theyer civ.
In case you would like to play standart civ it could be posible if at least 50 % says so.

Ill post more informatin if someone will find it intresting.

Would you just be chosing your own UU or all of your available units?

Also would be chosing from the standard tribe sets or would you also be defining your own tribe?

One final question, would this all be based on existing units (ie, Immortals, Berserks, etc) or are you talking about new units (Cataphracts, Redcoats, Slingers, etc)?

all units you can get no limitation is but just dont chose to many of them.
you could chose anything from orc machine human no mater what it is.
I gess you could chose any tribe I dont see any problem there rename your nation chose its abilities to suit you.

I gess we could decide some theme for it. or make it free to chose units so it might hapen that space ship would fight battleship but still they would have equal stats (thats if owners decide to make them like that any stat will afect its cost)

You're correct that having a theme would make it more consistent. Having Mech Warriors battling Star Destroyers, Star Fleet or Nazgul would be a bit odd.

well I gess the units could be split in some tech lvl so there could be alient rifleman and human rifleman. So it would prevent warrior vs metal gear fights. Well I was hoping for max 3 triats or disabeling them
