A bit confused with playeble scenarios... ...anyone cares to give me a hint?

Actually i was looking for playable WWI/WWII and "Lord of the rings" (i remember there was a good Civ2 one avaible) scenarios.
I've seen there are some of them, but are them playable with Mac Civ3?
I doubt (since i've seen they have features i suspect are linked to the PC expansions...)

I haven't tried many myself, but I seem to recall this question arose a few month ago and I checked a few LOTR and WWII scenarios then, and they seemed to be for PtW or C3C only.

Simple check: If they include a file with a ',BIC' extension then they should work. If the scenario file has a .BIX or .BIQ extension then they are not compatible with the Mac vanilla version.

Hey Rohirwine, I got a WWII scenario working on my mac, with AlanH's help.

http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=36861 - that's the scenario.

Just make sure you have already done the 1.29 patch, then put the .bic file into your scenario folder, load it up, and boom, you're Hitler preparing to run over Poland. It's not a perfect map, but I'm having fun with it.
