I believe if you edit the post immediately after you post it, the tag will not show up. I edit my posts a lot and so I'm pretty sure.

That's true. goododa, but only if you edit before anyone else posts after you in that thread....

Actually, as long as you edit it within 3 minutes, the tag won't show up.

Thank you, I was wondering why it wasn't showing up on the few that I typically edit immediately. Usually, it is to correct a grammar or spelling mistake.

I think it will still say "edited by" within 3 minutes if someone views the thread. I had that happen 10 seconds after editing a post once.

Yes, these boards give you three minutes, regardless of other posts, on other types of boards the tag will not show until another post is posted.
