A question about war?

I was wondering if anybody else thought that the game is not extrememly boring but kinda does get boring when a war is not involved? I mean most of the units late industrial age are war units such as the destroyer ship, submarine, paratroopers and amphibious warfare so waht do other people feel about war.

The AI always wars during the industrial age. Infantry play big role and then tanks, destroyers, and battleships and also artillery and a bit of cavalry and riflemen.
It gets exciting for me becuase i know there will be war and taking advantage of MPPs and having everybody war each other is fun. Then the stalemates ebcause the AI never uses artillery on the offense and can't take out infantry.
