-Can anyone tell me why it says chieftan under my screen name? I checked the profile pages and could not find this setting. I'm guessing it has to do with forum status rather then the skill level at which one plays. I think it's important to know what level a poster is playing on inorder to accurately answer thier questions. The effects of almost everything in the game vary level by level. Thanks...

This thread will probably move to site feedback at some point. I'm not exactly sure why there is a title limit, perhaps to encourage people to make 30 posts as by then they may have decided that they like the forum and will stay.

That might be a nice idea although the titles might need to be revised as I'm not sure at which PC level the title actually changes. We might need to have some extra levels for Curt...

No. There is a possibility you can get banned for impersonating a moderator. Even if you did try, the vbuliten would just black it out. Like *********
I tried to change my title to "Wannabe Moderator" and it came out "Wannabe *********"
THe people reading it thought I was swearing!
