A questoin on sound

As a kid I would always play this game. As a result of this constant gameplay, whenever I think of a nuclear missile I hear that whining sound that you come before the nuke fell in CIV II.

...Does anyone know where this sound originates?

If you still have your CivII CD, there is a subfolder called SOUND which has a files called NUKEXPLO.WAV. It has the sound of air raid sirens followed by an explosion. Don't know where they got it - probably some stock sound recordings.
