Week 41, 1942
Off Casablanca, a large US Naval Task Force is engaged. A Pe-2 is lost, with 2 groups of a US escort carrier and 3 destroyers sunk. Another Pe-2 is shot down. Four Pe-2s sink a fleet carrier, USS Ranger and 3 escorts.
Another Pe-2 is shot down as attacks focus on the battleship USS Colorado. The battleship is sunk and heavy cruiser USS Des Moines is heavily damaged.
US Naval Presence
Off Copenhagen, heavy cruiser Brest Litovsk is lost, but a Lion class BB, convoy, and 2 destroyers sunk. Sturmoviks from carriers Leningrad and Stalingrad participate in the action.
At Lucknow, 5 Matilda IIs and a heavy and mobile artillery destroyed. The city falls to 8th Guards Tank Corps, 1st Guards Tank Army. 4 bombers are destroyed on the ground.
Week 42, 1942
The battle off the coast of Africa continues. Aircraft sink US escort carrier Sangamon and heavy cruiser USS Des Moines.
Lose 2 Pe-2s. Attack group, sinking 3 destroyers and escort carriers Suwanee and Chenenago. Attack second group, sink 3 destroyers and escort carrier Bogue. 3rd group attacked, sinking destroyer and light cruiser USS Juneau. Lose a Pe-3. Continuing the attack, send 2 more escort carriers, USS Card and USS Core and 4 destroyers to the bottom of the Atlantic.
2 groups remain, the closer to the African coastline being battleships USS Texas and USS Idaho with a destroyer and escort carrier USS Santee.
Off Copenhagen, 3 Pe-2s and a sturmovik are lost attacking British battlegroup. October Revolution sinks a Lion BB Heavy Cruiser Vitebsk does the same. The convoy and escorting destroyer are also sunk. Carriers Leningrad and Stalingrad continue flying in support with sturmovik aircraft.
At Lhasa, 2 Matildas, a comet and 2 infantry killed. 27th Tank Corps 5th Tank Army takes the city.
Week 43, 1942
Air attacks on a British convoy. Sturmovik from the carrier Leningrad claims a Lion BB. Heavy Cruiser Vitebsk sinks another Lion. The carrier Stalingrad kills a third. BB October Revolution sinks the convoy. Aircraft from Casablanca sink another Lion.
12th Guards Tank Corps in Europe turns in their venerable T-26 tanks and is re-equipped with heavy KV-1 tanks. Their vehicles form 41st Tank Corps. 17th Tank Corps in Norway also turns in their vehicles which are turned over to a new unit, 42nd
Tank Corps. 17th Tank Corps is re-formed in southern France, equipped with T-34s.
34th Tank Corps formed with T-34s. These 3 tank corps form 7th Tank Army to be stationed in Western Europe with 4th Tank Army.
7 Chinese infantry killed at Kumming. The city falls.
Also in the Far East, the US Navy loses 3 heavy cruisers to Yamato battleships south of Taipei
Week 44, 1942
A Pe-2 is lost, but 3 American destroyers and 2 escort carriers sunk.
2 Pe-2s are lost in another attack, but the battleship USS Texas is sunk. The battleship Idaho is also heavily damaged. 3 new battleships are now on the US naval roster along with B-24 Liberator bombers.
4 French infantry are destroyed as Agadir falls to 22nd Tank Corps 3rd Tank Army.

Week 45, 1942
The USS Idaho sunk off North Africa, The last surviving escort carrier in the US Navy is sunk along with a destroyer. Russian losses in the attacks are 4 Pe-2s.
A British invasion force of 11 infantry and 14 tanks lands outside Koenigsburg.
Week 46, 1942
The British force is destroyed at Koenigsburg as aircraft and tanks combine to crush the invaders on the beach.
2 Matilda IIs and 4 infantry killed at the loss of 2 T-34s. Khartoum falls in East Africa.
Scientific research completes Sea 41 Tech. Air 42 Tech is next to research, due in 12 weeks.

Russian troops land at Cagliari.

On the Indian Front, 1st Guards Tank Army reports good progress as Katmandu falls to 8th Guards Tank Corps.
Mainland Japan is invaded!
Armored and motorized forces land at Akita. Naval bombardment and air attacks strike the northern tip of the island. The Japanese radar installation is destroyed by a Pe-8 sortie. Carriers Kiev and Moskva also provide aircraft to support the landings.

China loses 5 infantry as the last Nationalist Chinese stronghold of Khotan falls.

Dacca captured after fanatical resistance by British Matilda tanks. Heavy losses are taken by 1st Guards Tank Army
The USSR declares war on Spain. Gibraltar is gifted to the Arabs.
US and Russian submarines battle it out in mid-Atlantic with losses taken equally by both sides.
Week 52, 1942
8th Guards Tank Corps 1st Guards Tank Army takes Calcutta.
3rd Tank Corps replaces T-26 with T-34s in Japan
A spy in Port Sudan identifies 5 tanks and 2 infantry dcefending the city.
Russian aircraft confirm 2 Yamato battleships sunk in the east and 3 Lion battleships in the west as well. The submarine war continues in the mid-Atlantic between US and Russian vessels.
