Adaptive first change

Ok, I just recently got BtS and so the current version, I was playing the vanilla only version of FfH2 up until about a week ago. As I recall when I played on adaptive leaders the initial option to change your adaptable trait came fairly early, like in the first 10 turns. After that the interval increased depending on speed of the game. I have no issues with the intervals based on the speed, but I liked being able to adapt in the beginning then change after build up. Is it possible to go back to this, or if I remember wrong can it be done anyway? Because the long wait for the first time use of the adaptable trait makes it feel much less worth it. Ok I now await people's 2 cents so I can collect the penny in change. (as it only costs a penny for your thoughts.)

"the first 10 turns." That's odd. What speed were you playing? At Normal the option does not appear until turn 96, then every 100 turns thereafter.

Yeah it was on any speed way back. May have been a mod mod I added though, been a while since I played as I said. But I liked the effect it felt more adaptive.

Nope, not just a modmod. You are right Adrogans. I belive it was Turn 6 in normal speed some time ago. Haven't played an adaptive leader for some weeks though and i belive the last time i played one the first switch was rather late as well.
So it seems that has changed if it really doesn't allow to switch anymore in the first few turns.

Nope, the first switch I got on epic was turn 146 and on normal was 98.

Yea, you used to get to switch to once in the beginning. Not sure when it was moved back, but it's quite a while ago.
