Was wondering if there was any way to create new eras/ages in the civilization editor, is this possible?

BeserksareOP, you can rename eras in the editor, but it is not possible to add new eras to the existing eras, You can group techs inside an era to create 'sub-eras' as it is done in edit: Meteorpunch´s Aeon mod and as it was suggested by Steph long ago.

There is a method being developed where you can use Quintillus’ .biq swapping function.
He hasn’t finished it yet but it’s enabling loads of new options.
Before you reach the last tech of that era, load the next (transplant) .biq that has the technology shifted down by one era.
You’re only limited by the number of techs so I can’t think of a reason why you couldn’t have 20 or more eras.

Is it actually possible to do that with what I've written? If so that's great, but I didn't think it was there yet!
What is possible for sure is that you can have the barbarians evolve per era. As well as having the settings on what's known as General Settings and Civilizations change when you swap out rules. But, at least as far as I'm aware, it doesn't yet support swapping out technologies.

PROP will be my most useful section. It should be able to change a player’s war/peace/alliance status, replace any/all game graphics, repeatedly extend the limit of the turn counter or timer to force the player to operate within certain margins and so much more.
I’ll write a full list of potential uses in case you want to create a guide.
