There is a thread for potential addition of new civilizations, but what about new scenario's? I would think that new scenarios are far more doable. I did a search for a thread about this but couldn't find one, so I started my own.

A fun scenario I would like to see, is one for Atlantis. Let the CivRev team decide how exactly Atlantis became a lost civilization. Maybe it was the barbarians that destroyed them? Could be a 4v1 game, where the player is one of the "barbarian" civilization. The tech disadvantage would somehow be balanced by the teams 4 vs Atlantis civ. The barbarian team could only win by taking the Atlantean captial, and the Atlantis civ would need to win a tech victory. But maybe not the space ship, some other tech goal...

Thinking a scenario like that too,

One civ is the seven cities of gold.(they start with 1,000 gold, Seven cities, aand knowledge of currency)

Another is Atlantis ( Start with industrial era techs, 2 land cities and a special underwater city, which can only be attacked and defended by ships and produce 5 science per tile)

Another are the Templars( Begin the game with knowledge of Bronze & iron working, Horseback, feudalism and religion with 5 cities.)

The Angkors, with 4 cties, each with 1 great person settled, knowledge of Monarchy and great people emerge 33 % quicker.

And with a small twist, Columbus's cartel, a group of explorers ewho have vowed to grap 4 artifacts from each civ. they must grab the ark from the templars, Sink atlantis, Get the greatest person of them all, Confucius, from the Angkors and finally capture the city of El dorado from the Seven cities. The great person and the ark can be moved like a unit with 2 moves per turn.

I think for an Atlantis civ, one of their special bonuses would be that they get 2 hammers from water tiles.

And how about more objective based games. Like using spies to capture princesses? Each civ starts with a princess and to win, a civ needs to capture all princesses and bring them back to their capital?

Or a scenario with some sort of mobile artifact, that needs to be held onto for 100 turns (non consecutive) to win.

Or a 2v2 game of capture the flag? Give each team X number of special units that are the designated "flags," and the first team to capture the opponents' three flags, wins?
