Adobe Acrobat Activation

Anyone ever seen a continuous activation for Adobe Acrobat? I've got a user with 7.0 upgrade over 6.0, and it's continuously asking for activation. I've called Adobe Tech Support, and they don't support anything older than 8. Mr. Google's not much help either.

Buying a new version is not really feasible at this time.

Acrobat reader is a free download. It doesn't need activation. Are you talking about a full version to create .pdf files?

Yes, the full version.

If you need it only to create pdfs from a word-file, then google for cib-pdf-brewer. Works great and is shareware.

Heard of this once where the user account doesn't have the required permissions to write the activation file.

She's a full administrator on the machine, so I would guess that she does have the proper permissions.

She's also a Hummingbird DM user, but none of the other DM users are having this particular problem. We're planning on installing the 30 day 9.0 trial, and seeing what happens.
