Adobe Flash plugin crashing? Is this just me?

I can't log in to CivWorld anymore, because I get a message that the Adobe Flash plugin has crashed. I rebooted, made sure everything was up to date - you know, all the usual stuff. This was in Firefox, so I tried to login from Chrome - same thing. The error message was different, but basically it was saying the problem was with the plugin. Since I can't figure out how the plugin could be broken for two separate browsers, I thought maybe this was more than a local issue.

So, is this everyone, or just me?

That must be why there's no one logging in. I don't update my flash, and I'm playing.

Everything had started getting really sluggish for me. I would press the arrow key on a maze, and it would take 20 seconds to move the ball. So I figured I just needed a reboot - the computer had been on for days. It was after the reboot that the plugin stopped working, but now I'm wondering if the sluggish response time is related.

I don't understand how a flash game such as this takes so much resources, but it does. I have a slow-ish computer and it really gets slow at times..
