I've been able to use the advanced start feature before while setting up a custom scenario in BTS (3.17) But now it won't let me. This started after I set up a gamespy profile for internet play. Is this normal?
Now, when I try and use advanced start in a custom scenario, the advanced start points are greyed out, and I can't change them. No matter how many times I check the "advanced start" box, it will always uncheck itself after I click anywhere else. If I try and start the game, it will start it as if there is no advanced start at all. It does this when I try and start a custom scenario in any single player of multiplayer mode, including the next war mod.
edit1:
This only happens when trying to start a custom scenario in which you must first choose a civ/leader before being brought to the game customization screen. I would think this is normal except that I've been able to do this before. Besides that, its pretty dumb.
edit2:
It seems that when I was last able to do this was with a previous patch of bts. Is there any way to use advanced start on a bts custom scenario without loading a previous patch?
