Greetings!
Probably wise to give some summarizing info up front for those who do not wish to read the whole thing:
Game: C3C 1.22f
Map/game settings: to be determined
Civ: to be determined
Level: Demigod or Deity
Victory Conditions: all enabled
Players: 5. Ideally 2 experienced C3C deity players and 3 less experienced (Monarch/Emperor level) ones.
---
This will be my first succession game. Apart from the fact that it seems like an enjoyable thing to do, I have another reason for starting it. I have yet to win a game in Conquests on Demigod or higher! In vanilla Civ3, I would say I won about 50 % of the games on deity, in Conquests I'm doing fine on Emperor but I am stuck on demigod. So I would really like to learn from more experienced players.
So what are we looking for? Well obviously for a few experienced players who are willing to play a game with Demigod n00bs, explaining a few things along the way. And in addition to that a few players that are in my position: familiar with some form of micromanagemant and tech trading, but not enough to manage a demigod game.
The game parameters are open for discussion, but should result in quite a challenging game. I am not a fan of massive naval warfare though, so I would prefer a pangea or continents map, which will result in a faster tech pace and hence a more challenging game. Apart from that, I like all civs and their traits but usually pick one on the basis of their UU. My recent picks include the Dutch, the Ottomans and the Iroqois.
