Well you're biggest problem by a wide margin is a severe lack of workers. 4 Workers for what will be 6 cities isn't even remotely close to enough!
Usually people give the advice of 1.5 per city early game but with all that jungle I would be tempted to have 2 workers per city. This is the direct cause of most of your issues, particularly the unimproved tiles being worked!
Next problem I see is

, I would strongly suggest taking a

tech before CoL in most cases (except where

resources are plentiful). The most popular

tech tends to be Monarchy for Hereditary Rule, and this would also give a further use to your garrisons.
Another issue is that you have not made any effort to create a Great Person thus far, getting a Library up in some city that can support 2 scientist specialists (just 4 excess

) makes a world of difference early on. While its not too important on Prince, but getting an early Academy in the capital really helps.
On Creative Pericles. I rarely find Creative civs to be too much of an issue with border wars, they never tend to get more than a few tiles on the outer ring of any cities BFC.
As a little aside, with all your neighbours being Pleased with you due to the very good diplo decision of running Hinduism as state, so you can do some nice begging

. My suggestion would be to ask Pericles for Meditation and ask one of the other 2 for Priesthood next turn to quickly open up Monarchy for research.
EDIT-
Oh wait your using automated Workers

, even when you know what your doing with them automated they are still very inefficient. For example in your game they are cottaging non riverside grassland when riverside tiles are available.
The early point in the game is where you really want to use workers manually, both to get a feel for what they should be doing, and it even helps you keep an eye on how many you need.
By far though your biggest problem is with your Workers, solve that and Prince should feel pretty easy soon enough.
