Afraid!

You know how the diplomacy screen says "at war" with someone when you are, and occasionally "hostile" with someone? I just saw "afraid" for the first time!

It's an interesting one because it's Persia - who unlike me has riflemen and artillery - who is afraid of me. I am now in first place in points and beat him in a war earlier, but no one else is officially afraid of me. He actually volunteered a comment about lesser leaders like himself having much to learn from me.

hehe yes that happened to me once with Augustus, he popped up out of nowhere and said something about how wise leaders don't bully weaker Civilizations or something like that, there was no option to say anything back, when i looked at the diplomacy screen there it was "afraid" hehe, pretty funny, does'nt happen often though.

I once had Darius told me very soon how afraid he was, despite me having only my initial warrior. He kept telling me that even when my advisor said he was more powerful.
