Hey guys, I have Age of Empires three, I have installed it before, and I wanted to install it on my new computer, but as the setup approached the "art3" file, which is in the cabinet file of the first disk, the setup froze. Later I found that this was due to the disk being melted by something at that particular area.

So my question is this: is it illegal to get the files on disk one from someone over this forum? I have legally purchased the game, but this my be illegal. If not, I'd be very grateful if someone could send me the files. I just need the files on disk one.

Thanks in advance.

Illegality would depend on the country in which you live/bought the game.

If you do own the game, I can't see any company pursuing a lawsuit against you for downloading the files of disk one. And morally speaking, there is nothing wrong about it.

Is it just the game by itself or does it include any of the expansions?

If it is the game by itself, you could buy the Complete version.

How long did you wait for it? If I remember correctly, a file that sounds roughly like yours took my laptop more than a few minutes before it finally processed, with all three versions of the game. (My disc was also midly damaged)

Sorry guys I already had the game for a while. And yes. It was awesome. :)

Except when my old computer couldn't render the cannon shots without lagging. :(
