Age of Empires 3

Age of Empires 3 looks so tight!! I hope they have Germany like in RoN, because the Germans are so cool!!
Also, all the new stuff looks incredibly awesome and after reading the IGN article I want to go out and buy it right now, except that it isn't out yet. ;-(

I loved AoE I and AoE II was simply awesome. One of the best RTS ever, IMO, and I've pretty much played them all.

Great news. Although I hope they would release more info. I'm quiet interested on how they reworked the economic models of the game. And hopefully some screens showing the interface will be released.

This game has the potential to capture the magic of the last two games while still introducing some innovated game concepts. Not to metion the awesome graphics.

Problem with PC games is that the better the graphics, the greater the requirements to run the game. Sure all that eyecandy looks great, but it makes me worry that I'll have to buy another computer just to run the game... again.

And one of the good things about PC games is you can adjust the quality of the graphics to suit your computer's ability :p

My computer's a few years old, so when I play games like HL2, I just turn the settings down a bitty.

Really looking forward to this game btw :)

I dont believe they will be there for the fact they never took place in the new world. They mentioned already 3 of 8 nations: English, Spanish and French. I expect the game will feature the Dutch, Portuguese, Mexican, Canadian and some native tribes. :mischief:

I saw the graphics and though they were just imense, looking forward to see Microsoft's answer to the success of RoN

I must say, what is so special about RoN? I played it but... it wasnt so attractive for me!

I just think it seems alot more refined than AoE2. I'd consider it a better game in everything apart from the story missions in AoE2 which I just love, but thats cause I like my history and playing the Crusades is alot more fun to me than trying to take over the world.

I said RoN is more refined but who knows, AoE3 might be even better than RoN, would be really nice I must admit

In RoN there's way too much to do and choose from at one time, imo of course. It was fun but the one time I played it it was a demo and the da**ed thing wouldn' let me save it cuz it's a friggin demo!!

Cool games to come:
Civ IV (of course :D)
Black and White 2 (Way better than BoW1)
AoE3
TES4
prolly others I cant remember

AoE isn't anything special, and I cant think of anything I'd really want in AoE3. That is except A FRIGGIN EDITOR! >_< the base game is so annoying after a while.

I saw it on the cover of PC Gamer magazine. I didn't get it tho, i was too interested in the PC world magazine about the browsers. ;)

The thing about RoN that I like was that it pretty much had unlimitied resources just limits on the rate of gathering. I hope it will have something similar in AoE3 as I enjoy making vast armies in long battles but I always found myself limited but resource limits.

I was just playing AoE II, and looking at some of the cheesy things you could do in that game. Hopefully they're taken out, like being able to bombard your ally (bombard the ground, and your ally says, "Help! The enemy is attacking me!", and the one where you can build a tower near the enemy, and watch their workers try to attack it...

You'll win both times. :) Hopefully, AoE III doesn't have those exploits.
