For the Vietnam War scenario I'm working on right now I wanted to include Agent Orange and Napalm... but as of now, I don't know how to go about it. Agent Orange was a Defoliant which turned all Jungles into Savanna-type wastelands and Napalm... well let's just say it's the modern form of Greek Fire.

Any ideas?

If you could get someone to modify the bomber unit maybe you could have it drop napalm. Was it dropped by bombers?
I was thinking of something more complex for the agent orange. You would need a unit to represent whatever it was that dropped the chemical. Alltough it would look like a plane it would actually be a ground unit with paradrop ability. Then it could be given the clear rainforest flag and it could do this in one turn. you'd be left with grassland which isn't ideal but better than nothing. Lastly it would need a large movement over any terrain so that it could get home or to it's next target.
There are problems. The unit could be encircled, immobilsed or attacked by ground units which isn't realistic.
I'm not sure if any of this would work properly at all. Just thinking out loud really!

Also, of course, if a unit has only one or some of the terraform abilities, you can't give it the AI terraform flag. In other words, you could create an Agent Orange unit that clears rainforest, but the AI won't use it.

Yeah I thought that Napalm might not be "too much" of a problem.. merely a graphics C&P job for bomber aircraft (I'm thinking Ripp's Skyraider). Agent Orange... well I like your thoughts... Got me thinking! Hmmm.... what if Agent Orange could be flagged as a Nuclear Bomb? At least that would generate the outrage the real stuff caused...
