Ahhhh shadow animals

Ok my horses and pigs and such move around but they are just shadows not actual animals. It doens't do this when I don't animate moves, is there a way I can see the cute little buggers roaming around?

That's a glitch with certain videocards. I don't think there is a solution other than freezing animations.

Or dropping $500 for a new video card?

Shouldn't cost THAT much, but an upgrade might help. What card are you using now?

AN intell somthing, it makes everything I play work badly

Same here, Intel 82845g. I'm also looking to upgrade, there are plenty of graphics cards between $100-$150 that are plenty good enough to play civ4. Now if you want to play a top of the line FPS with a decent framerate, you're probably gonna be spending around 250-300 dollars easily
