You can attack permanent allies with hidden nationality units? Doesn't work with teams, but perhaps permanent alliances use different mechanics.

Before the move to BtS HN units could attack team members. They have not been able to attack permanent allies since that though.

Oh, right...permanent alliance. I don't know why I was thinking they were vassals. Scratch that idea.
