Kiwi Tyrant
Evil Jollification
Monty's out of control, conquering and making a vassal of everyone; bar my only 'friend' Spain. He is 2% off getting a Domination win. I have to start a massive war to rein him in and keep the game alive. Me alone vs 6 civ's; Isabella will not get involved, traitor . .. .. .. .. .!
A prolonged exchange is occurring, I've brought back things from the brink and am clawing away at this monster. Nuking huge stacks coming at me; their territory is becoming a wasteland....
Then, the Spanish begin to place the odd unit in frontline enemy cities. I'm trying to tactical nuke the outrageous stacks they're building up on the front, but suddenly find I can't because I can't nuke 'friendly' people or territory!!!
The catch is, I don't want to go to war with Spain as well 'cause all my trade routes, resources and vital knowledge exchanges are down to her only; and I need all the trade to keep my civ afloat. War Weariness is crippling me (Monties WW is over 500 points/does'nt faze him), yet the infidels refuse to end the war: they run the U.N. which is compounding the problem. The Spainish are not moving those single units out of the enemy cities too!
Is this just lucky AI randomness, or is there something more sinister happening here? Like a devious programming war-script I have only just had the mischance to endure......
