"All records of ancient games have been lost"

So, I was playing along, dominating nation after nation with my cataphracts, when suddenly a message appears on screen:

"All records of ancient games have been lost"

What does this mean? I had the Olympic event a good number of centuries earlier, so it might have something to do with that.

Anyone have an idea?

It means all your saved games were just deleted.

I believe it means that the relationship bonus you had for the games has expired
