A seesaw battle takes place on the Mongol/ Persian front. The Persians recapture their city of Bactra and the Mongols attack and destroy the city.

I was just settling in for a well deserved night out at the theatre, when a number of Iroquois Mounted Warriors turn up on my doorstep.

Since there is both coal and rubber within Iroquois territory, but not by StairwayToHell, I guess they are just out for some exercise.

I would invite them in for some firewater, but I'm just finishing off some walls.

The Persians invite us to an Alliance against the Mongols.
We rebuff this crude attempt to turn us against our natural allies, and fob them off with a minor trade.

It may amuse everyone to know, our lone intercontinental knight pitched up at the American city, and found it undefended.
So much for my chances of elites and Leaders...
My, how I laughed.

Our knight is now carefully threading his way back between clumps of Persian cavalry. Our good wishes to the Mongols throughout their coming trials.

Heavy fighting along the Mongol/Persian border. Mongol forces recapture Los Angeles but we expect to lose it again. Mongol Horsemen capture the Persian city of Ura Tyube and four Persian workers. Scattered skirmishes with Persian cavalry.
