The Persisan government has ordered that the empire must get "lean and mean". 
Therefore a cost reduction program has started. In the line of this program the Persians have build Adam Smiths Trading Company.
Meanwhile, as the Ottoman troops are being tied up near Babylon, the Persian troops are clearing the jungle from Japanese cities for our Ottoman friends!

@Anarres: Last link on your website isn't correct. IT sends you to the 142-161 turn page also instead of 162-175. When I replace the 142-161 with 162-175 manually everything works correctly. (copied and pasted and not adjusted )

The evil Chinese have captured and burned a lot of Babylonian cities. They also ransacked Babylon, thereby taken precious scrolls from the great Library. As a result of these developments the world is in shock as everybody realized that the barbarian Chinese suddenly have the knowledge of potential dangerous technologies...
After this sudden leap forwards from the Chinese, Persian politicains have developed a new dictat for future internal and external affairs. The consul will soon let the world know what plans the Persian government has made.

When the Persian armies near the near the border with the Babylonian colonies woke up this morning, they were astonished with the sight they the saw:
Suddenly all 3 cities turned into rubble while no Ottoman or Greek units were sighted in the vicinity. What happened? Did the Chinese signed peace and gotten the cities in a treaty and immediately abandom them? Our diplomats tell us the Chinese are still at war with the Babylonians
What dark secret lies behind this?
Another annoying thing catched our attention! While we were warned by the Chinese in turn 176 to watch the Diplomacy screen (F4 screen) we didn't notice anything strange. But this time we watched very carefully and saw this:
It is hard to see but the colours are different and thus China and the Ottoman empire have a MPP. The Ottomans asked us into a MPP before but we turned it down, not knowing what the impact of such a deal would be for our agreement with the Chinese (peace treaty untill turn 200). We wanted to have a session with the Chinese before signing such a thing. But now the Chinese already made the discision on their own... So, we have a MPP with the Ottomans too now...

To be honest, I just assumed our treaty surpassed the in-game diplomacy. If the Ottomans attack you and I am forced to declare war it is in name only, I will not attack you during our treaty. The MPP with the Ottomans is to protect me from the barbaric Greeks and Celts only...
