Ancient Cavalry not showing up in Tech chooser

When I change Ancient Cavalry to make them available by researching an advance an icon does not show up for them in the tech box window. I don't understand why. The only change I made was to put "Monarcy" in the drop down box for prerequisites. Is there something else I need to do to have them show up in the tech box in the tech advisor/tech chooser window?

Are they buildable by any (your) civ? By default they are not since the wonder creates them.

Yes, you have to enable that unit for all civs or at least the civ you are playing. Firaxis set autoproduced units to be not available for any civ. If you want to see autoproduced units, that should not be available in normal production in the techtree, additional settings are needed (may be as used in the mod CCM).
