ENDGAME​

Chapter 11: Bankruptcy, Among Other Things

“Shred all documents!”

The frantic movement of Nook agents inside Nook headquarters is quite a spectacle. Shreds of paper and paper dusts are flying everywhere. The sound of machine shredding fills the air with chaotic energy.

Based on the reports, a photo of that reveals that Tom Nook is the mastermind of all evil in the Islands has spread across Town. Upon examination of the town doctor, MarcherJovian (Ankha) on Pietro’s body, a clump that is recognizably from Tom Nook’s furs was collected. On top of that, inside the clown suit of Pietro, an SD card was discovered by nutella23 (Rolf), the town cop for further investigation. In it is the picture of Tom Nook (Daisycloud) inside Nook Headquarters together with agents seen spreading terror across town. On the day that Peitro died, Blathers has told the town cop Rolf that Pietro orchestrated exposing Tom Nook and even killed one of the agents.

Winston Hughes (Marina) overheard this conversation from the museum itself (it's not that hard to hear considering the acoustics in the museum—even a whisper could be heard from a room away!). Winston Hughes quickly relayed this to Synsensa (Mint) who quickly exclaimed!

“Get him now! We must get him now! Now is the time to strike!”

And Cuthillius (Antonio) who interjected “ Easy now guys, we need further proof! I was almost axed with your gossipin!"

Soon, word is all over town that Tom Nook and his headquarters is the source of all kidnapping, smuggling and forced labor for town. Town is out for blood!

Dolbster (Francine) and Biancasbotique (Bianca) are running from the mob. As immediate cousins of Tom Nook and the Nook twins, the mob is now after them and wants to know where Tom Nook is…

“Run Francine…let’s go…They must not catch us" Bianca exclaimed...

Francine started running away, with Bianca not far behind. There is no more reasoning with town. They want Tom Nook and if they cannot get it, they know they will be the ones on the chopping block..

But town is too fast for them. Once captured, they were covered with cloth sacks, and they could not see where they are going. And soon they could feel themselves going up a ramp and a rope wrapped around their head.

“Where is Tom Nook!?? Speak now or you will both hang to die!”

“We don’t know! We don’t know!” Bianca shouted

“We will count to three and if you both don’t say where he is…”

“One…..”

“We don’t know!!” Francine interjected

“Two..”

“No!!!” Bianca started screaming

“I know where he is! I will tell you!! He is..in” Francine knew she must do something.....

“Three…..”

And darkness….

“What the fudge!”

Dolbster (Francine) woke up screaming frantically.

She quickly clutched her neck..Nothing…no marks. She quickly looked in the mirror. No bruises

“Thank God!! It was a nightmare”

She opened the curtains to his house to reveal sunshine. The fresh air trickling in. She looked around and saw the town in their usual morning routine. Marcher Jovian, in his doctor's coat grabbing coffee from the Roost as usual, nutella23 picking up his daily newspaper from the mailbox. Winston Hughes watering the flowers, Cuthillius in his wetsuit about to go for a swim and Synsensa digging up dirt....

“Aaah, the usual daily island life”…..

Synsensa saw her through the window and waved. Dolbster waved back.

“Hmm…that’s odd…Syn digging dirt? He's a woodcutter...."

Dolbster, although thinking its unusual, dismissed the thoughts quickly and started to proceed to shower to go to work……

As Dolbster is in the bathroom…Isabelle's daily announcement came on the radio:

Announcement everyone, Good morning. On today’s news…So many things to tell OMG! Too much going on right now!!!…

First, it is my regret that I received a note that Bianca has moved to another village, and I also received a note that Tom Nook (from the same letter!) is quitting Island Resident Services.

It is such a sad and weird day indeed.but good news!!

Nook's Cranny is holding a Liquidation Sale with merchandise up to 75% off (except for Gracie stuff- they are still ove...full-price).

And omg! I heard that Gracie is coming to the shops today! Wow, too much stuff going on today! Isn't it nice to have some exciting news once in a while in the Islands?​
